The Los Angeles Fire Department and utility crews responded to a neighborhood near Paramount Studios and Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Friday after a water main burst, flooding nearby streets.
The rupture was reported around 3 p.m. on Romaine Street at North Wilton Place, about two blocks east of the cemetery.
Video shared on the Citizen app showed water spilling into the street and rushing through gutters. LAFD firefighters blocked off Romaine Street while utility crews worked to shut off the water.

No injuries or property damage were immediately reported.
The rupture occurred several miles east of the site of last week’s major water main break at Sunset Boulevard and Holloway Drive in West Hollywood, which swept away vehicles, flooded buildings and created a massive sinkhole.
